I chose this trail because it’s relatively flat and almost completely runnable. It just has a very slight elevation gain on the way out go 333ft in just over 3 miles. A trail this flat and runnable in when you are in terrain like this is hard to find. It’s also a beautiful trail with the towering canyon walls. I did this trail 3 times while I was camping in the area, The last time I add a side trail up to Hickman Bridge/Arch and that added extra 3 miles (5k) and and 800ft (243m)of gain. But it was definitely worth it the extra effort
